An awesome place : Belize and the Belize real estate offers

Top destinations in Belize and the Belize real estate options. Belize is an incredible travel location but you can also become a permanent tourist if you explore the local real estate market in Belize and buy a property there. First let’s discuss about a few attractions in Belize and we will finish with some tips about becoming a permanent tourist by buying a property in Belize.

A diamond in the rough, Caye Caulker is a hotspot for backpackers and budget travelers. This tiny island, fringed by mangroves and coconut palms, lies about 24 kilometers south of Ambergris Caye. In 1961, Hurricane Hattie divided the island in two, creating an area called the Split, which is now a small public beach. The area north of the Split is quieter and less developed. Travelers come here to completely chill out. Golf carts and bikes are the main mode of transport on the sandy streets, and the small guesthouses are rustic, but comfortable. Although Caye Caulker lacks the picture-perfect tropical island beaches some may expect, visitors can organize trips out to the reef to swim, dive, and snorkel. The Caye Caulker Mini-Reserve features nature trails with labeled flora and fauna.

A popular peninsula in southern Belize, Placencia has the best mainland beaches, plus some of the most amazing offshore coral cayes. The eastern side of the Placencia Peninsula is a long expanse of white sand beach. The western side is bounded by a long and narrow bay. The beautiful beaches together with the abundant, inexpensive accommodation, make it a great place to relax and one of the attractions in Belize.

Once the exclusive domain of local fishermen, the Belize Blue Hole gained international fame in 1971 when French oceanographer and marine documentarian Jacques Cousteau visited the area and promptly declared the Belize Blue Hole as one of the top 10 best diving spots on the planet. A nearly perfectly circular hole measuring 300 meters (980 feet) across, the Belize Blue Hole is the location of a series of caverns that were swallowed up by rising waters at the end of the last great Ice Age.

Belize attractions and climate makes purchasing a property here a sweet idea. Imagine living permanently there… the joy. Many people often ask us why the Platinum Coast (West Coast) & Secret Beach is just beginning to undergo rapid development given its beautiful beaches and sunset views and the story goes back to when the island was first developed. As many of you already know, in a tourism destination the most coveted coast is almost always the West Coast because of the amazing sunsets. The island of Ambergris Caye was however originally developed on the East Coast to accommodate the reef and the fisherman who wanted to get out first thing in the morning to fish. The East coast of Ambergris Caye has been developed leaving the west coast to be forgotten, until now. See more details at Mahogany Bay Belize.
